Single, dual or triple light-head options with monitor and camera systems available
Eschmann operating theatre lights, monitors and camera systems can be configured to meet the needs of individual theatre environments.

Unique patented light-head and video display unit controls
Controlling the light functions and movement of the light-head, monitor or camera system, is easily achievable from within the sterile field.   The on/off, pattern size adjustment and light intensity can all be adjusted via the sterile handle.  Deep cavity illumination is also achievable by simple rotation of this sterile handle.

Wall controls work in parallel with light-head and visual display unit controls.

Optimum Light Performance
The 4,300 K colour temperature gives optimal differentiation between tissue and conditions.  The uniform light pattern provides excellent optical clarity and eliminates glare.  The pattern size is infinitely adjustable to minimise eye strain.

The custom designed infrared filter ensures maximum comfort during long procedures by reducing radiated heat to a minimum.

Superior shadow control is achieved with the multifaceted reflector generating 1890 individual rays from a single bulb, allowing the surgeon to work comfortably in front of the light-head

In any configuration the Eschmann operating theatre lights, monitors or camera system can achieve 360º unrestricted and independent movement with zero drift.

Auto-default back-up bulb for continuous illumination
Every light head is equipped with two bulbs (the primary bulb and the back-up bulb). When the primary bulb fails, the back-up bulb lights up automatically to ensure continuous uninterrupted lighting throughout the procedure. The change-over is virtually unnoticeable to the surgeon which is why each light head is equipped with three LED indicators to alert the Circulator to change the bulb.

Yet another "first" from Eschmann is the convenient location for the spare bulbs. Two spare bulbs are always close at hand and are located in the wall control panel. A hinged flap conceals the spare bulbs making them readily available 'in the room' between cases if required.

Easy user maintenance
A comprehensive site survey and installation can be carried out by highly skilled Eschmann engineers.
Bulbs are also accessible without the use of any tools and can be changed literally within a matter of seconds.

Please contact your local Eschmann Area Sales Manager to discuss which configuration is most suitable for your individual theatre environment.
