Eschmann celebrates success at national manufacturing awards for innovative healthcare exports to Iraq

Eschmann Equipment, which designs and manufactures equipment for operating theatres, dental clinics and GP practices, has won the Innovative Working Practices Award, at the first-ever national EEF Future Manufacturing awards, beating competition from the cream of the UK’s manufacturing sector.

Eschmann, which employs around 200 people, received the accolade as a result of adopting a new and radical approach to many of its business processes to fulfil a multi-million pound export order for 300 operating tables as part of the rebuilding of Iraq's healthcare system.

Eschmann Launch the T50 Obs and Gynae Specialist Operating Table

If you've paid a visit to the Eschmann website recently, you will have probably noticed one or two changes with many more afoot. The homepage and corporate pages have been completely redesigned with a number of new features, such as up to date news and press releases, information on our upcoming exhibitions and a new contact form to help ensure your enquiry goes the correct department and is dealt with quickly. New Managing Director at Eschmann

Following the recent retirement of Malcolm Carlisle, Group Managing Director of Eschmann Holdings Limited, the Company has today announced the appointment of Philip Kennedy as Managing Director.

Philip has been a Board Director in charge of Sales and Marketing for the Company for the past seven years and was part of the group of private investors which acquired the business from Smiths Medical in 2001. Philip said "It is a honour to have been asked to lead Eschmann through its next stage of development. We have achieved a great deal over the last few years and I am relishing the opportunity to drive forward one of the best brand names in our sector".

British No. 1 selected by Saudi Arabia
